Director of Operations - Mr Brian McNeill
Brian was appointed Director of Operations in June 2005,
having previously held the position of Head of Training and Quality Assurance from August 1996.
He was one of the first Paramedics to be trained in Northern Ireland in 1989 and worked on operational "front line" duties for over 12 years.
During October 1998 to March 2000 he was Project Manager for the Strategic Review of the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service, which has been instrumental
in influencing the modernisation of the service. As Head of Training he was involved in the development of the Business case and the planning and
design of the new Regional Training Centre.
He was the Northern Ireland Board representative for Paramedics on the Council for Professions Supplementary to Medicine (now Health Professions Council).
He is also the Northern Ireland Representative on the National Ambulance Service Association, Education and Training Committee.
