Chief Exceutive -
Mr Liam McIvor was appointed Chief Executive of the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service in October 2004 having previously held the position of Director of Operations from May 2001.
Mr McIvor was previously the General Manager for Ambulatory Care at the Royal Group of Hospitals having previously held general management positions in Cardiology and Cardiac Surgery. He joined the Health Service after a successful career in retail with British Home Stores with store management roles in England and Scotland, culminating in the flagship Oxford Street branch in London.
Mr McIvor currently holds a B.S.Sc (Hons) and a Masters Degree in Business Administration. He is currently a member of the Representatives Group for the Northern Ireland Confederation and a member of the Board of the NHS Confederation Ambulance Service Network.
