Register of Interests
The Trust holds a manual register of signed declarations for senior staff outlining:
- Directorships held in Private Companies or Public Limited Companies
- Private companies, businesses or consultancies, owned or part owned, which may seek to do business with any Health & Social Care (HSC) entity.
- Positions of authority held in charities or voluntary bodies in the field of healthcare
- Connections held with voluntary or other bodies contracting for HSC services
Senior staff also sign a declaration confirming whether they, or any party related to them, have undertaken any material transactions with the Northern Ireland
Ambulance Service.
This register is updated annually and subject to review by internal and external audit. Details of this register highlighting any significant interests or
transactions are reported in the annual accounts (Note 23)
